The Institute

Identity and Principles

Preamble: how the mission began

RIPSENV InterAmerican Institute of Energy and Sustainability, Inc. was legally established on April 22, 2026 under the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Its founding is the natural, strategic evolution of the International Network of Professionals of the Venezuelan National Electrical System (RIPSENV), originally founded on November 2, 2025. What began as a global technical reserve —expertise, resilience and commitment applied to the recovery, modernisation and decentralisation of electrical systems— has now expanded from the Americas onto the global stage. The Institute is the institutional backbone, the legally established entity, and the centre for applied research and strategic thinking. It acts as the international cooperation bridge needed to lead a just energy transition, free markets and sustainability, with particular attention to developing nations across the Americas.

Our Mission

To design, promote and implement the legal, technical and academic frameworks for the transformation, recovery and integration of sustainable, decentralised energy systems across the Americas and the world. We advance the sector's technical capabilities through advanced specialization programs and build international strategic alliances to secure free economic development and social wellbeing.

Our Vision

To become, within the next decade, the Inter-American think tank on energy and sustainability with the widest global reach; recognised as an independent technical authority, a driver of public policy for open energy markets, and a catalyst for technological solutions in the modernisation of electrical systems and the energy transition of the 21st century.

Our philosophy — four inalienable principles

Guiding Principles

01

Sustainability and Gradual Transition

Technically and economically viable integration of renewable sources — hydro, solar, wind, biomass — into existing infrastructure; the transition as an engine of growth and never as a burden on developing countries.

02

Meritocracy and Technical Rigour

Structural decisions are governed by engineering excellence, economic efficiency and advanced methodologies such as digitalisation through global collaborative ecosystems.

03

Decentralisation and Free Markets

Access to energy is optimised through free competition, depoliticised public utilities, legal certainty and openness to domestic and international private investment.

04

Cross-Border Solidarity

The global technical reserve and shared knowledge as a universal asset, able to transfer expertise and transform local realities from anywhere in the world.

The talent already exists. The decision is yours.
